Youthful Reflections on Faith

In a world of heavily decorated outfits & accessories laden with precious jewels,

Live shabbily dressed populations – striving daily in their tattered outfits.

Among the bright lights – from skylights & party lights to street lights,

Are unique eyes revelling in the brightness of the glowing moon & stars.

Surrounded by glitter and glamour,

Yet seeking the best gems to feed the soul

– For an empty soul harbours no light.

Day to day we charge along,

Blinded temporarily by all the glow around

While the deeper glow emerges from within.

As it emerges and the glow intensifies ,

It touches all those around with the best of feelings.

This tranquillity reaches out in the most meaningful ways,

Creating the best of long lasting connections.

Not fancy wrapped and without sparkly effects;

Never touched up or revamped to suit tastes.

It’s never all about the bling, but a heart wrapped in contentment;

Brightened with sparks of submission and love.

An immense radiance glowing in uniqueness… called Faith.

    Indeed, We have made that which is on the earth adornment for it that We may test them [as to] which of them is best in deed. (Q18:7)………………………Masha Allah, an admirable poem for reflection……….The deeper glow emerges from within!
